California State Poker Championship Begins on September 2

Luckily for all poker players from California, there will be a special poker championship going on in California state, United States.

The championship will be going at the Bicycle Casino and it will start in barely a week. The championship starts at 2nd of September and will be running until 21st of September. All poker players (skilled ones, and starters) will have a chance to play No-Limit Texas HoldEm events with buy-in in ranges from $120 up to $1,158, and the championship will consist out of 18 events. Satellites are already underway at the commerce.

Talking about the money prize, in total, there will be $7 millions awarded to poker players in 19 days of poker, while the biggest prize will be at the main event, where the bank is $300,000 guaranteed.

Another fact that is interesting about this poker championship, in the past, organization of championship was trying to bring attention of celebrities, to take part in game. And in 2004, Ben Affleck won the final table.

With over than 250 poker tables at Commerce Casino, there also will be more than 200 hotel rooms, where poker players can stay.
