Charity APT In Macau With Doyle Brunson

On Tuesday 26 august, before the start of the $1.5 million guaranteed APT (Asian Poker Tournament - which will be going from 27 of August till 31 of August), the Galaxy StarWorld Casino Hotel will open their special APT Poker Room, where on Tuesday will be various special events, to interest poker fans.

Right after the opening of APT Poker Room, the most famous poker legend, holder of 10 WSOP bracelets and writer of various poker strategy books - Doyle Brunson will be signing books and meeting his poker fans.

On the same day, there will be special special Celebrity Poker Charity tournament, where famous artists, signers, and even boxers will play. Proceeds will go to Caritas De Macau, it’s the social service of Macau. The following social service is aimed to help individualities, families & communities to live in more human condition. I really admire the organization of such poker tournament, and lets hope it’s not last of such kind of tournament and we will see them more often in future.

Interesting part, Manny Pacquiao, one of the most famous boxers in Asia, who won four titles in different divisions, will be playing in Charity Tournament. The charity event will also feature movie actor, Michael Wong. And of course, Doyle Brunson will participate too. Good luck to all celebrities!

Now to the main event. The APT Macau is a $5300 buy-in tournament ($5000+$300). People who organized APT, expect a lot of Vietnamese poker players. Among all the other players, there will be Johnny Chan (10 WSOP bracelets, top professional poker player), J.C Tran, Mel Judah, Kenny Tran, Todd Brunson, Nam Le, John Juanda, Liz Lieu, Quinn Do, Steve Sung, Huck Seed and David Saab.
