John Juanda Wins WSOPE Main Event

Winning a WSOP bracelet is a true achievement for every poker player. Whether he is playing for 1 or 10 years. And it a true achievement for John Juanda, who just won World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, which took place in London and got himself a new shiny WSOPE bracelet!

Full Tilt Poker professional player took down WSOPE Main Event last night, going through 484 hands at the final table, at that time thinking that it may never end.

The whole final table lasted for 19 hours and 10 minutes, starting from “shuffle up and deal” to the final river card, that sealed the tremendous victory of John Juanda. Worth adding, that Juanda never was counting on dealers luck and always was playing like a real poker pro, using his brain and skill he gained during the past years playing online poker.

Worth mentioning that this final table definitely shattered the history books of poker, as it was one of the most longest final tables and it has beaten previous record set at WSOP final - 354 hands.

Casino at the Empie in London’s Leicester Square definitely saw a lot of action last night, as epic battle of the titans were on. John Juanda entered game at 1:23 p.m. local time on Thursday with the chip lead; with blinds at just $6,000/$12,000, he had a stack of $1,349,000, placing him just ahead of Russia’s Stanislav Alekhin, who was by the way facing him in heads up.

By the way, Full Tilt Poker gave out many packages to this tournament, so next time there will be a major tournament, you should be prepared to play at Full Tilt, as that is the place where all the action is!
