Phil Ivey Wins $439k Pot

Phil Evey, who recently failed at this years WSOP in Las Vegas, just won a major poker pot and eased his pain with it. There can be good times and bad times, even for professional players like Ivey, but damn I think it feels good for him now.

This year seemed like it just was not meant for Phil Ivey. First, he busted on £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. tournament, finishing sixth. Then busting again at the Main Event. Seemed like this year just was not meant for Phil, until a good thing happened and he broke his “black line”.

Luckily for Ivey though, there is always some money in online poker for him. And those are high stakes tables! And where do you think all the action was going on for this time? Exactly, the same good old RailHeaven table from Full Tilt poker.

Interesting thing is, lady marmelade jumped to high stakes, where I suppose she was hunting for the “easy money”. But I guess she picked up the wrong table…
