PokerStars Is Now On Mac!
PokerStars was looking a way to even more expand their market, and they found a way to do this, by creating a Mac poker software for their Mac users. The PokerStars announced on Friday that the software is launched and ready for download.
Previously, there was only beta Mac poker software version available, and the programmers team from PokerStars was working for 1 year, to develop software compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.10 and later. Mac OS X is becoming not so bad gaming platform since 2005. Instead of using PC version prototype, PokerStars decided to build it’s own Mac software, from scratch.
Here is what PokerStars says:
“The launch of PokerStars for Mac surpasses other web-based and outdated online poker Mac applications and secures PokerStars commitment to enhancing the experience for all players”.
The community of PokerStars started asking for stable Mac poker software some time ago, and Pokerstars team delivered it. Instead of rushing in process and making unstable version, they spent some time to develop the best software on the platform. This step only proves, that PokerStars truly values their clients.
It is also a good marketing step aimed at celebrities. As most of musicians and actors prefer Mac more than PC, because it’s more “creative”.
Here is what Joe Hachem, winner of 2005 World Series of Poker tournament says about this new software:
“This is a great addition for both PokerStars and the poker playing audience. This will allow Mac users to experience the world’s largest online poker site without third-party applications”.
Definitely awesome step from PokerStars, which I think will only increase their site’s popularity.
You have a Mac and you were always searching for a poker site that supports Mac? PokerStars is the solution, with their new poker Mac software.
