Son Was Trying To Sell His Fathers Kidney to Play Poker

Philip Hayes, a 19-year-old guy from Claremont, Los Angeles, was caught while trying to sell his father’s Ray Hayes kidney, to continue playing his bad habit - online poker. Father did not know anything, until medics came home and informed him, he will need an operation in 2 days.

Philip was very addictive to online poker. He had bad days and good days, just like all we have. One week earlier, he lost almost all of his money - ~$24,000 and was left without anything. As his family said, he did not have a job and most of his time spent playing online poker. Not thinking too long, he decided he will sell his 39-years-old fathers Karen kidney to “earn” some money, so he could continue playing online poker. How awful is that?

Apparently, Philip had some good friends in hospital, because father did not know anything, until medics from the local hospital knocked on his door and informed him he will have a transplantation operation in 1 week and that he will need to stay in hospital for 3 days before that. Father was shocked, that his son could do such a thing!

“I always thought we raised our child good. I was very aware about his addiction to poker. We tried to talk with him, that gambling will never end well, but he never just listened to us. He is now staying addiction cure center, where we hope they will be able to cure him from this poker addiction.”

There will not be any fines or prison sentences for Philip, as his father Ray Hayes did not write a complaint to police. Hopefully this will end up good and Philip will be able to cure from his addiction.

I was just amazed how people can be cruel nowadays. Just always remember: responsible gaming is the first key to success!
