World Series of Poker Europe In 2 Weeks

Another grand live poker tournament is on horizon. And now it is World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), which will be played in London, United Kingdom. Final preparations are made, and soon (in 2 weeks to be exact) we will see some poker!

All players, starting from small and ending with pros will have a chance to show off their poker skill. Some aim for WSOPE 2008 bracelet, some just play for fun, and some just want to win SOMETHING! The 2008 World Series of Poker Europe is sponsored by Betfair.com and this year it will be held at the Empire Casino in London.

4 bracelet events, various cash games and one of the largest poker tournaments in the world - Main Event. Buy-in for Main Event is 10,000 GBP, which is approximately $20,000.

Players will have their first chance to win a bracelet, at the opening bracelet tournament - 1,500 GBP No-Limit Texas Hold Em.

Here is a complete schedule of World Series of Poker Europe 2008:

• 19 September: Event #1 - GBP 1,500 - No-Limit Hold’em Day 1A (3-day event/2 opening days)
• 22 September: Event #2 - GBP 2,500- H.O.R.S.E. (3-day event)
• 24 September: Event #3 - GBP 5,000 - Pot Limit Omaha (3-day event)
• 27 September: Event #4 - GBP 10,000 - WC No-Limit Hold’em (5-day event/two opening days)

For people wondering how you can take part in WSOPE, it’s still possible. You 2 options, either to sign-up in London (at LCi venues) or in Las Vegas(at Harrah’s venues) or other option - win some sort of qualification satellite, where they offer travel package.
